This electric scooter is not IP-rated, so we recommend avoiding riding in the rain or over puddles. Water entering the device will void the warranty, as it is considered contrary to the operating instructions.

Water can get into the scooter as a result of rain, pressure washing, or submersion. Even if the amount of rain seems small, it can combine with wind and spray from the wheels to cause pressurized water to enter the device. This can cause permanent damage to the scooter.

Follow the instructions below to keep your scooter and its battery in good condition and maintain the warranty:

• Only use the charger supplied with the product or one approved by the manufacturer.
• Do not store the scooter or battery in freezing temperatures or damp conditions. The optimal storage and operating temperature is 5–30 °C.
• During winter, the scooter and battery should be stored indoors.
• Avoid directing a direct stream of water at the battery or motor and minimize the amount of water that gets on the device.
• Do not run the battery completely flat, as this may damage it.
• If the scooter is not used for a longer period of time, charge the battery once a month to maintain its optimal performance.

Using lithium-ion batteries in freezing temperatures

• Lithium-ion batteries can be damaged in severe cold weather, and their performance deteriorates at low temperatures.
• Battery use should be limited to a maximum of -10 °C for short-term use.
• Below -10 °C, battery performance deteriorates significantly and the risk of damage increases.
• Do not charge the battery if the ambient temperature is below 0 °C, as this may cause permanent damage.
